For my first #SlashTag for @davechensky@Devindra and @jeffcannata of the @slashfilmcast, Iād like to recommend S1 of the Snowpiercer series (on HBO Max; S2 starts Jan. 25 on TNT). It stays true to the themes and tone of the movie and really keeps you on the edge of your seat

Iām sure you guys have gotten this a ton of times but, just saw Wolfwalkers last night in appleTV+ and wow. Unbelievably beautiful! A simple and magica story told using animation like Iāve never seen before (it was my first Cartoon Saloon movie) Highly recommend!! #slashtag

Just watched Don't F**k With Cats on Netflix. True crime doc about some pretty horrendous (but fairly delicately presented) subject matter. The way film itself becomes part of the story by the end is pretty stunning. Didn't think I'd be recommending it, but here I am. #slashtag

Nomadland - while somewhat simple, it is totally captivating; but an example of 'death of the author' with watching a non-covid film after Covid - the vulnerability of people to hardship and how these characters would be even more vulnerable now than in its 2011 setting #slashtag
#slashtag@jeffcannata Seeing as you and your kid are such fans of the excellent show Bluey, I highly recommend Sarah and Duck. An absolute gem of a show. Slower paced than most kids shows (like Bluey) and very inventive.
#slashtag The Warrior TV series based on Bruce Lee's original TV show pitch is now on HBO Max. Two seasons. Highly recommend it for people into pulpy crime shows with cool action sequences. Showrunner is the guy who did Banshee.

#slashtag A little known comedy tv show called Robbie is so funny. I laughed my ass off. Cast: Rory Scovel (co-creator), SNL's @thesheertruth (my beautiful wife), Beau Bridges. Gosh. I was surprised that a less known show is this good. So we'll written so genuinely funny.
